Paperclay is a wonderful material to work with for things like that since it can be sanded, dries hard, and is lightweight!

i love her tutorials so much.

there you go.
check out her other tutorials, they’re pretty fantastic.
Ben Nye is about $4 per small case. I’ve been able to keep one thing of Ben Nye for doing Karkat and Eridan, you have to use the make up sparingly, but know how to apply it well. So probably $4-$8 for Ben Nye. Zentai suits can cost anywhere from $30-$70 depending on where you buy them, so I suggest you look around and find one you like. Hair, i’m not sure, there are fefsestor hair tutorials, and they cost about $70 or so? I’m not sure if you oculd cut corners and get it for cheaper though. The arm bands and the trident could be made by you or you could have them commisioned. So i’d say around $160+?
dyeing is definatly the better option!
also!
http://cosplaytutorial.com/list.php#dye
go there to find which dye would be best suited for your project and tips and tricks!
I’d actually use dye instead of paint! You can find it at any craft store near the fabric paint, sometimes places like walmart carry it too.
i feel like thier tinted a SUPER light grey, or not tinted at all. you cant really tell with different artisits shading and such.
you should look at different completed cosplays to see if their glasses are tinted or not.
i say no, but thats just me C:
It’s all a matter of your own preference. If the cosplay you’re wearing is baggy and you feel that you look flat enough in it, by all means, don’t waste your money on a binder! Perhaps get a couple second opinions from friends so that you can decide for sure.
